Project Overview
To automate the sales process by deploying a solution using mobile based application in Java/J2ME platform integrated with the hosted web application. The objective is to enable the sales representatives to collect sales orders efficiently. The hosted web application needs to be available to all authorized users to view reports. It would also consist of a stock liquidation application, using which the sales reps can view details of the stock of each item at all the dealer outlets.
Complexities and challenges
- Manual sales ordering process over phone or by filling physical forms.

Our Solution
The features of the mobile application developed by Empover included the following
- Collecting sales order data by allowing the sales representative to choose the distributor within a location
- Choose the item, quantity and SKU
- Integration with SAP enabled stock updates, pricing and quantity to be calculated internally
- The sales representative collects the Stock details in the following format
- Administrator control and maintenance of user, distributor, location, item, SKU, etc.
