| Technical Skills: |
- Candidate should be good with DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and familiar with other UI technologies. YUI/ExtJS or other widget libraries will be an added advantage.
- Core Java with excellent grasp of OOPS, Threads, Design Patterns, Servlets and JSP.
- Should have good exposure on Spring, Struts, Web Services, Hibernate, Junit, XML,XSD etc.
- Should be familiar with Source control, Issue Management Systems , UML etc. (preferably SVN, JIRA etc.)

| General Skills: |
- Knowledge of Application Design Principles, Practices, System Development and Analysis.
- Prior experience using a structured methodology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Should have good Analytical & Debugging skills.

- Effective Team player
- Ability to work independently and to be self-directing.
- Ability to follow the technical direction of the Development Manager, and help out junior level programmers as needed.
